In an era where almost every electronic device is connected to our local network and where telephony has upgraded to VoIP (Voice over IP), our requirements from our router have increased dramatically.
In every installation, be it big or small, a router, , is responsible for the data delivery from and to the network to which it is connected. The router also performs other functions of great importance. Another important feature is the capability of a safe remote connection inside the local corporate network through VPN (Virtual Private Network) for an individual employee or branch to gain access to services provided by the local server.
